Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites Bowl

These Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bowls feature sticky glazed salmon bites in an incredible sauce paired with broccoli, avocado, pickled cucumbers, brown or white rice, and the reason we’re all here: bang bang sauce to tie it all together.

Ingredients
2 servings

⅓ cupplain greek yogurt
or mayonnaise

4 Tbspsweet chili sauce

2 tspsriracha

1 Tbspavocado oil
for cooking

1 lbsalmon filet
chopped into bite-sized chunks

½ cuplight soy sauce

1 Tbsprice vinegar

2cloves garlic
large, minced

1 tspsriracha

2 tsptoasted sesame oil

1 BatchAsian Cucumber Salad

3 cupsbrown rice
cooked

1 headbroccoli
large, chopped into florets

1avocado
large, ripe, sliced
Instructions
Step 1

Gauge the amount of rice based on how many people you're serving While the rice is cooking, prepare the bang bang sauce by stirring together the ingredients in a small bowl, Refrigerate until ready to use.
Step 2
Steam, saute, or roast the broccoli according to your preference.
Step 3

Prepare the Salmon: Combine coconut aminos (light soy sauce), rice vinegar, minced garlic, sriracha, and sesame oil in a bowl. Stir together until the sauce is well combined.
Step 4

Cut salmon into cubes and cook in avocado oil until fully glazed and cooked through
Step 5

Pour the sauce for the salmon into the skillet. Continue cooking and flipping the salmon every few minutes until it is fully glazed and cooked through, about 4 to 5 minutes. Salmon is fully cooked when it reaches an internal temperature of 145° F (or when the center is fully light pink without any dark pink rawness to it).
Step 6

Make the Bowls: Add rice, cucumber salad, sauteed broccoli, avocado, and salmon to bowls. Drizzle with bang bang sauce and additional sauce if desired

Swap the fresh garlic cloves for garlic powder in the salmon sauce.

Add red pepper flakes to either the bang bang sauce or the sauce for the salmon for spicy flavor.

If you’d rather not use sweet chili sauce in the creamy bang bang sauce, you can omit it, add 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup or honey and use 1 to 2 tablespoons of sriracha.
