Instructions
Step 1
Boil 6 cups of water in a pot
Step 2
Add seasonings to water
Step 3
Once water is boiling, add your pasta.
Step 4
While that's cooking, in a large deep pan (I used a cast iron) heat olive oil and 1/2 your garlic let that heat up for a few minutes until the pan is hot
Step 5
Next, add your onion and stir until onion starts to get soft
Step 6
Add in your ground Italian sausage and seasonings and brown over medium high heat
Step 7
Once meat is browned, add in your tomato sauce and diced tomatoes.
Step 8
Mix it in well with the meat and continue cooking until sauce starts to boil
Step 9
Next, add in your spinach and continue stirring
Step 10
Once the spinach has softened, add in your cream and stir well
Step 11
Season again (no garlic salt)
Step 12
Once all the ingredients are well incorporated, bring to boil, stirring occasionally, for 8-10 minutes (depending on your spiniach)
Step 13
Once everything is fully cooked, it's time to add in your drained pasta
Step 14
Mix well, sprinkle cheese all over top
Step 15
Lightly cover with foil for just a minute or so to let the cheese melt.
Step 16
Once cheese is melted and spinach is tender turn off heat and enjoy!
