Ingredients
4 servings
2cans chickpeas
drained, rinsed, and patted very dry
1onion
small
3garlic cloves
1 cupfresh parsley
1 tspcumin
1 tspground coriander
½ tspchili powder
½ tspbaking powder
2 Tbspflour
Salt
Olive oil spray
3 Tbsptahini
1 Tbsplemon juice
1garlic clove
2 Tbspwater
cumin
to taste
4pita breads
or flatbreads
1cucumber
2tomatoes
1red onion
1 cupslettuce
Pickled red cabbage
olives
or gherkins
Instructions
Step 1
1. Drain soaked chickpeas well. 2. Blend all ingredients in a food processor until crumbly and sticky (not paste). 3. Chill mixture for 30 minutes. 4. Form into 16 small balls/patties. 5. Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F). 6. Spray falafel with oil and air fry for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway.
4. Assemble Wraps: Warm your pita/wraps. Smear with hummus or garlic sauce. Add falafel, veggies, and drizzle more sauce on top. Wrap it up and devour!
