340gpasta
penne or rotini work best

225gItalian sausage
casing removed

½ cuppepperoni slices
halved

1onion
small, diced

0.5red bell pepper
diced

0.5green bell pepper
diced

2cloves garlic
minced

680gpasta sauce
or pizza sauce

1 tspitalian seasoning

200gshredded mozzarella cheese

½ cupgrated parmesan cheese

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Step 2
Cook pasta in salted boiling water until just al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 3
In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Add onion, bell peppers, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 4-5 minutes.
Step 4
Stir in pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, and pepperoni. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Step 5
Add cooked pasta to the skillet and stir until everything is evenly coated in sauce.
Step 6
Transfer the mixture to the baking dish. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Add optional toppings if desired.
Step 7
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Broil for 2-3 minutes for a golden top, if desired.
Step 8
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
