Pork & Pineapple Teriyaki Skewers

Instructions

Step 1
1. Make the Marinade:

In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.

Simmer for 2–3 mins. Optional: Add cornstarch + water mixture and cook 1–2 mins more until glossy.

Let cool slightly.

2. Marinate the Pork:

Reserve ¼ cup of the teriyaki sauce for glazing.

Toss pork cubes in the rest of the sauce.
Step 8
Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour, up to 8 hours.

3. Assemble Skewers:

Alternate pork, pineapple, onion, and bell pepper on skewers.

Brush lightly with oil to prevent sticking.

4. Grill 'Em Up:

Preheat grill to medium-high.

Grill skewers 10–12 minutes, turning every few minutes.

Brush with reserved teriyaki glaze during the last few turns for sticky, shiny goodness.

5. Serve:

Perfect with coconut rice, grilled garlic bread, or even tossed in a salad bowl.
