I like to cook grits in milk and heavy cream but milk/water also works. I use quick 5 minutes Quaker Grits.

Instructions
Step 1
Mix 1 cup of grits, 3 cup of milk, 1 cup of heavy cream, cook it based on the instructions on the bag. Add salt to your liking
Step 2
When it's almost cooked, add some shredded cheddar cheese in your grits and let it rest on a very low heat while you cook your shrimp
Step 3
Mix olive oil, shrimp, and Cajun seasoning in a bowl or a ziploc bag. Let it marinate for 10-15 minutes
Step 4
Add some butter in a pan. Cook marinated shrimp in medium heat, about 4 mins each side
Step 5
In a cutesy plate, put some grits first, then same shrimp on top
Step 6
Make it even more cutesy with some Chives!
