Finely chop veggies

Finely chop or ground your meat

Brown meat
Step 4
Once meat fat has rendered add veggies

Once everything is translucent you can add ingredients to Stockpot or slow cooker as needed

Turn heat low then add ingredients and tomatoes
Step 7
Once tomatoes incorporated add beans and water
Step 8
Bring to a boil then let simmer add seasonings
Step 9
Simmer till beans are soft add salt periodically
Step 10
Plate with cheese and cilantro and cornbread if you'd like
