Instructions
Step 1
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Add tofu and cook 5–7 minutes until golden on most sides. Remove and set aside.
Step 3
Add more oil if needed, then cook onion 2–3 minutes until soft.
Step 4
Add garlic, soy sauce, and honey or maple syrup. Stir well.
Step 5
Return tofu to the pan.
Step 6
Add spinach and cook 1–2 minutes until just wilted.
Step 7
Season with black pepper and serve hot
