This porridge mix can be stored for 4 weeks and tastes incredible with the mixture of nuts and seeds. It's high protein, full of beneficial plant chemicals in the grains and tastes divine.
Swaps:
Pumpkin seeds -> black sesame seeds
Hazelnuts -> pecans
Walnuts -> peanuts
Hemp seeds -> flaxseed
Cinnamon -> cardamom
Frozen Mixed berries -> frozen mango

100gporridge oats
rolled
50gsunflower seeds
50gpumpkin seeds
50ghazelnuts
50gwalnuts
50gshelled hemp seeds

Instructions
For the porridge mix
Step 1
Gather your ingredients
Step 2
Put the oats, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, hazelnuts, walnuts and hemp seeds into a food processor and blitz into a rough mixture.
Store in an airtight container. Keeps for 4 weeks.
For serving
Step 3
A serving is 80g of the porridge mix. Toast the mixture for a minute or two in a dry pan on medium heat, then add the milk.
Step 4
Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently until it starts to thicken.
Step 5
Then add the cinnamon, cacao powder, a pinch of salt and the maple syrup, if using, and continue to cook until you reach a porridge consistency.
Step 6
Serve with the frozen berries and banana
