Ingredients

1 cupsoy curls
1 ¼ cupsvegetable broth
or water
1 tablespoonsalt-free Creole seasoning blend
2 tablespoonstomato paste
jar
2 teaspoonswhite miso paste
1red onion
large, chopped
1green bell pepper
large, seeded and chopped
2celery ribs
chopped
3garlic cloves
chopped
1 x 14.5 ouncecan diced tomatoes
BPA-free, or Tetra Pak salt-free, drained
2bay leaves
1 teaspoondried thyme
½ teaspoondried basil
Spice Blend
Savory
ground black pepper
Hot Sauce

Instructions
Step 1
Place the soy curls in a large saucepan with the broth and Creole seasoning. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Stir in the tomato paste, miso, onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Cover and cook until the vegetables are softened, about 10 minutes.
Step 3
Stir in the tomatoes, bay leaves, thyme, basil, Savory Spice Blend, and black pepper to taste and cook, uncovered, for about 15 minutes to blend the flavors and reduce the liquid.
Step 4
Remove the bay leaves before serving with Healthy Hot Sauce.
