Tofu Broccoli Stir Fry

This is an easy meal to through together. You can always eliminate the tofu and the oil to make it healthier, and more Kidney and Heart healthy.

Ingredients
4 servings
1 pkgextra firm tofu
¼ cupcorn starch
2 tspaleppo pepper
divided
2 tspsumac
divided
2 tspblack pepper
divided
1 Tbsolive oil
divided
1 Tbssesame seed oil
divided
¼ conion
chopped
3 clovesgarlic
chopped
1 headbroccoli
cut into bite sized florets
1 tspchinese five spice
Sauce
Instructions
Step 1
Press tofu for 30 mins. Combine corn starch, and half of the aleppo, black pepper and sumac. Cut tofu into cubes, and toss in the corn starch mixtured.
Step 2
Heat 1/2 tablespoon of sesame seed oil and olive oil. Fry tofu until golden brown, Once done, place in a bowl lined with paper towel and set aside.
Step 3
Heat up remaining oil, add in the chopped onion and saute until soft. Add garlic, and cook for a minute. Add in the remaining spices, and stir to combine.. Next put in broccoli, and and pour in half the sauce.
Step 4
Pour in remain sauce and the tofu. Cook for 5 minutes, and serve. Garnish with green onions, and/or sesame seeds.
