Instructions
Step 1
Clean your cassava (or use frozen prepared cassava) and put them in a large cooking pot. Add water until the cassava are fully covered, then season with salt. Simmer and cook for about 10-15 minutes until tender.
Step 2
Drain all the water and set aside.
Step 3
Mash cooked cassava
Step 4
Sauté your onions until they are slightly brown. Add your cassavas and the other remaining ingredients apart from lime juice.
Step 5
Add about one and a half to two liters of water and bring the mixture to boil and then simmer. Stir and taste if the seasoning is well incorporated.
Step 6
Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Then serve (add lime juice to taste)
