Instructions

Step 1
Wash your chicken with vinegar and lime. Add in your Walkers wood jamaican jerk marinade/seasoning, (black pepper, paprika ,salt, garlic powder,oregano and brown sugar). let it marinade for at least 1 hour.
Step 2
Once chicken is done marinating you will heat the stove to medium and add in olive oil and Sofrito to the pot. Then you will add your diced peppers and onions and sauté for 5 minutes. Then you will add your chicken. Once it has browned a little bit you will Add in 1-2 cups of the leftover water/jerk seasoning mixture/1tsp of browning sauce and simmer on low for 25 minutes.
Step 3
Once the chicken is cooked through, you will then add your favorite barbecue sauce and start shredding your chicken with a spoon. Stir the mixture well, close the lid, lower the heat to medium low and cook for another 10 min.
