Instructions
Step 1
cook the rice in a large saucepan of salted boiling water for 15 minutes, until tender. Drain and rinse with boiling water. Set aside.
Step 2
Heat a wok over a medium heat then add the groundnut oil, swirl it around the wok and heat. Add the eggs and cook, stirring constantly, for 50-60 seconds, until set. Transfer to a dish and set aside.
Step 3
Add the beef and stir-fry, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, for 4-5 minutes, until evenly browned. Stir in the onion, garlic and peas and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
Step 4
Add the rice, tamari, sugar and eggs and cook, stirring constantly, for another 1-2 minutes until heated through. Serve immediately with prawn crackers, if using.
