Ingredients
4 servings
2 tablespoonoil
1bay leaf
1 teaspooncumin seeds
½ teaspoonwhole black pepper
1onion
1tomato
1 teaspoonginger paste
1 teaspoongarlic paste
1 teaspooncoriander powder
½ teaspooncumin powder
½ teaspoonturmeric powder
1 teaspoonred chilli powder
½ teaspoonsalt
1 teaspoondried fenugreek leaves
200gfrozen peas
100mlwater
100gtofu
75mllow fat yogurt
1 teaspoongaram masala
coriander
Instructions
Step 1
Place the pan on medium heat and add the oil, bay leaf, cumin seeds and whole black pepper.
Step 2
Cook for two minutes.
Step 3
In a seperate pot, add the remaining oil and saute onion on medium heat until it softens and changes colour.
Step 4
Add the tomato and all the spices, and cook further for a few minutes .
Step 5
Blend the tomato and onion mix using a hand blender to a smooth paste.
Step 6
Add the peas and water and let it cook for three minutes.
Step 7
Then add the tofu and the yoghurt and cook for five minutes.
Step 8
Sprinkle the garam masala and dress with the coriander.
