1 cupbuttermilk
1egg
2 tablespoonsbutter
melted, or oil
½ cupwater
1 ½ cupflour
27gsugar
2 teaspoonsbaking powder
½ teaspoonbaking soda
½ teaspoonsalt
To make buttermilk
Instructions
Step 1
Add buttermilk in a large bowl
Step 2
Add eggs, melted butter, water and give a good mix
Step 3
In another large bowl add flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda add salt
Step 4
Mix and add in wet ingredients
Step 5
Mix until well combined but do not over-mix
Step 6
Set large frying pan or girdle on low heat and oil lightly
Step 7
Scoop batter gently and cook for two minutes on both sides
Step 8
Repeat until batter finishes
