Instructions
Step 1
Preheat waffle iron to the high waffle setting.
Step 2
If needed, lightly brush on some shortening.
Step 3
Mix all dry ingredients together.
Step 4
Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix until completely blended.
Step 5
Pour about 3/4 cup of mixture into the waffle iron.
Step 6
Cook for 3-4 minutes until brown and crispy (start with 4 minutes then adjust if needed).
