Step 1
Chop the onion and tomatoes, cut 2 slits lengthwise in each brinjal, chop green chillies

Heat oil in Kadai, add Ginger-garlic paste and fry till the raw smell disappers
Step 3
Add the chopped onion, fry till it softens. Then add chopped tomatoes and fry till everything becomes pulpy
Step 4
Add tumeric (1 tsp), salt (pinch), curd (1 tbsp), Sambar powder (1 tsp), tamarind pulp water (1 tbsp) and the cut brinjals.
Step 5
Pour 4 glasses of water and cook till the Brinjal is done.
Grind
Step 6
Grind coconut (2 tbsp), gingelly (1 tsp) and raw peanuts (2 tsp). Add this to the cooked gravy. Leave till it boils.
Step 7
Add coriander leaves and curry leaves. Serve.
