Instructions

Step 1
Dice up the onion and fry it in a pan with the oil until golden on medium heat (and splashed of water if needed)
Step 2
Add the garlic, chilli, tomato paste and spices (crushed and chopped). Fry until fragrant and and dark red, try not to burn them!
Step 3
Add in your beans - you could also add in a chopped up pepper or courgette - fry them in the spices for a couple minutes
Step 4
Now add in your tomatoes, sugar, salt and pepper and vegetable stock (I like to leave some behind incase my chilli is not looking *juicy* enough at the end of cooking so I can add it in) I like to simmer this for around 40 minutes
Step 5
Serve with baked potatoes or rice! (For the potatoes I recommend microwaving them for around 5 min per hot potatoes, prick then and cover with oil, salt and pepper plus some thyme. THEN add to an oven at 200Ā°C for 30 minutes) I like adding nutritional yeast to mine šŸ¤Œ
