add garlic, thyme, and butter to skillet to create a sauce/juice in skillet

use juice to baste the steak on both sides

remove steak from skillet, leave it to rest for 10 minutes

take bread slices, lightly toast them in the juices from the skillet

combine mustard and mayo to create a sauce, spread it on bread
