Step 1
Begin by placing spaghetti in boiling water heavily salted. Set your timer for 2 minutes less than the recommended time on the package.
Step 2
Take a large, deep pan and add olive oil, chili flakes, and garlic. Fry gently over very low heat for approximately 2 minutes.
Step 3
After that, add the Gochujang paste to the pan and fry for a couple of minutes before loosening with 2 ladles of pasta water.
Step 4
Make sure that the Gochujang sauce doesn't boil (lower the heat), and then add the cream and parmesan to the pan. Stir the mixture to create a creamy sauce, and add another ladle of pasta water.
Step 5
Add the slightly undercooked spaghetti to the pan and stir gently while heating. The pasta water will thicken into a creamy cheese sauce. Keep adding pasta water as needed, and once the pasta is fully cooked, serve it immediately with an extra sprinkle of parmesan.
