Step 1
To a bowl add all the dry ingredients. Give it a quick stir.

Then add the egg and milk. Mix until well combined. If the batter is still to thick add more milk. The batter consistency should be runny but not thin.

Transfer the batter into a high glas.

Heat the oil in the pan.

Pierce the hot dog with a shashlik skewer. Then dip it in the batter. Make sure the hot dog is covered everywhere.

Then place the hot dog in the hot oil, turning it a few times at the beginning so that the batter spreads evenly around the hot dog and it maintains a round shape. Fry for about 2 min.

Cut the hot dog bun in half. Toast until golden brown.

Melt the cheese in a small pot.

Slice the pickle and place it on the bottom half of the hot dog bun.

The place the corn dog on top.

On the other side add the melted cheese and sprinkle on the fried onions.

Drizzle on the ketchup and mustard on the corn dog.
