Instructions
Step 1
Slice the tempeh block into bacon sized strips.
Step 2
In a bowl mix together the oil, soy sauce, maple syrup, liquid smoke, sriracha, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Taste the mixture and adjust flavor as needed.
Step 3
Add the tempeh strips to the marinade and flip them around to coat evenly. Marinate the tempeh for a minimum of 10-15 minutes.
Step 4
Heat a frying pan to medium heat, add tempeh bacon, cook on each side until slightly browned.
