2cans of chickpeas
Instructions
Step 1
Put oil in the pan add cumin seeds, bay leafs, cloves. Cook until fragrant.
Step 2
Add onions and cook down until transparent on medium-low heat (about 10 minutes)
Step 3
Add ginger and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Step 4
Add tomatoes and salt and cook down (about 5-7 minutes)
Step 5
Add turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder and cook for another 5-7 minutes
Step 6
Once fragrant, mash the masala with a masher and add garam masala, paprika, cumin, china masala mix
Step 7
Add 1 can of chickpeas with water and the other can strained and boil for 10 minutes
Step 8
Lightly mash the mixture again and top with coriander leafs. Serve with roti or over rice
