Ingredients

Tikka Marinade

250 gramspaneer
cubed to 1 by 1 inch pieces

½ cupcurd

1 tspginger paste

1 tspgarlic paste

2 tspKashmiri Red Chili Powder

½ tspgaram masala

¼ tspkasuri methi

⅛ tspturmeric
optional

¼ tspsalt
adjust to taste

1 tsplemon juice

1 tspoil

1bell pepper

Masala Gravy
Instructions
Preparation
Step 1
Add the tikka marinade ingredients to a bowl and mix well










Step 2
Add paneer cubes, onion and bell pepper to marinade and set aside



Making the Masala
Step 3
Heat oil and add onions; saute well until golden


Step 4
Add tomatoes, cashews, sugar and salt. Saute until tomatoes turn soft




Step 5
Add chilli powder and garam masala; saute until the masala becomes aromatic


Step 6
Cool this completely and blend till you get a smooth puree with some water

Step 7
Heat oil on a low flame; add ginger and garlic paste and saute until raw smell disappears



Step 8
Pour the onion tomato puree. Taste and add more chilli powder if required

Pour 1/2 to 3/4 cup water to bring this to a gravy consistency
Step 10
Once the gravy is of desired consistency, add kasuri methi and salt if required, and set aside


Final Touches

Cook the tikka in either an oven, grill or air fryer
Step 12
Add the cooked paneer and vegetables to the gravy
Step 13
Pour the cream and gently mix

Garnish with cream and coriander
