Instructions

To Marinade the Chicken

Step 1
Mince the garlic and ginger, cut the breasts into strips and add everything into a bowl til thoroughly combined, cover with cling film and leave in the fridge overnight

The Sauce

Step 2
Finely dice and fry the onion, and fry for 5 minutes til soft
Step 3
Mince the garlic and ginger, and add these to the pan along with all the spices and fry for a minute
Step 4
Add the tomato purée and fry for 2 minutes before adding the beer, passata and vinegar, then simmer for 20 minutes

Tikka Masala

Step 5
- [ ] Fire up the bbq and skewer the chicken, and grill over medium coals for 15 minutes
Step 6
Pour the cream into the tikka masala sauce and crack some black pepper
Step 7
Add the chicken into the sauce and toss to coat them and serve
