1carrot
1 stemspring onion
1clove garlic
3 Tbspolive oil
100gred lentils
300mlwater
½ tspsalt
½ tsppepper
1 tspparsley
¼ tsporegano
½ tsppaprika powder
3 Tbspbread crumbs
20mlolive oil

Instructions
Lentil patty
Step 1
Bring the water to a boil. Reduce the temperature to low and add the lentils. Cover with the lid and simmer for 12-15min.
Step 2
Peel the carrot. Then halve and cut into slices. Chop the spring onion and mince the garlic
Step 3
Heat the oil in the pan. Leave the heat on high. Then add the carrot and fry for about 2min. Then add the spring onions and garlic and fry for another 2min.
Step 4
Add the vegetables and spices to the lentils and blend until smooth. Finally, stir in the breadcrumbs.
Step 5
Form the lentil dough into patties.
Step 6
Heat the oil in the pan and leave on high heat.
Add the lentil patties and fry for 2-3min each side.
In the last minute put the cheese slice on top and let it melt

To a small bowl add the ketchup, mayo, mustard, pepper and pickle juice and mix everything until well combined

Cut the burger bun in half. Spread both halves with butter and toast until golden brown.
Step 9
Spread on the sauce and add the salad leaf. Then top with the lentil patty.
Step 10
Slice the tomato and cucumber and place on top of the patty
Step 11
Place the other bread half on top and enjoy!
