Ingredients

3 Tbspcooking oil
2kgred meat
1 ½ tspsalt
1 ½ tspcoriander
1 ½ tspred chili
1 tspturmeric
1 cuponion
1 Tbspgarlic paste
1 Tbspginger paste
4green chilies
5cardamom
7cloves
8black pepper
3cinnamon sticks
2bay leaves
¼ tspmace powder
½ cupyogurt
1 tspsugar
2 Tbsponions
fried
2 Tbspmustard oil
¼ cuponion
4green chili
½ tspgaram masala
Instructions
Step 1
1. In a large pot, add cooking oil, red meat, salt, coriander, red chili, turmeric, onion and stir for a couple of minutes
Step 2
2. Mix in garlic paste, ginger paste, green chilies, cardamom, cloves, black pepper, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, mace powder, yogurt, sugar, and fried onions
Step 3
3. Cook for 1 hour and 45 minutes on low heat with the lid on
Step 4
4. Stir occasionally
Step 5
5. Using a large pan stir fry onion and green chili in mustard oil
Step 6
6. Transfer the meat to the pan and continuously stir
Step 7
7. Add garam masala and mix before serving
Step 8
