I created this smoothie recipe using ingredients for their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory benefits. It is a nutritional drink for Eczema sufferers to assist with combating the inflammatory effects of the condition. Why is it good for Eczema? Mango and Kale are rich in carotenoids. These nutrients have an antioxidant effect that can reduce inflammation where there is an Eczema patch on the skin. Ginger also reduces inflammation and contains essential oils that interrupts the chemical reaction that occurs when inflammation occurs. So this drink is great for the healing and prevention of an Eczema ‘flare-up’.

Instructions

Step 1
1. Place all dry ingredients into blender and pulse until finely processed
Step 2
2. Add Avocado and Ghee and blend on normal speed until well combined
Step 3
3. Add the liquid and blend on full speed until you have a ‘smoothie’ consistency
