Step 1
brown rice or noodles in medium sauce pan
Step 2
add half the can of tomato sauce and add 2-3 cups of water or until water is covering rice by a few centimeters
Step 3
add seasonings
Step 4
for rice:
stir and bring to a simmer then add lid until rice is fluffy or no liquid is left
Step 5
for noodles:
stir and bring to a simmer - do not add lid - stir occasionally until noodles are soft and liquid is almost gone
