Instructions
Step 1
Combine dry, then add water. Mix until the dough becomes smooth. Add water if needed.
Step 2
Cove and let it rest for half hour. Roll the dough out quite thin and cut out the dough using a drinking up or cookie cutter. You can cut it to a smaller pieces and than roll out some more to make them thin.
Step 3
Fry minced garlic and ginger in sesame oil and add the carrots, onions and mushrooms to the pan. Sauté for 5 mins until lightly browned.
Step 4
Then add crumbled tofu, scallions and soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper and continue cooking for another 8-10 mins on medium heat.
Step 5
Add 1 tsp of the filling into the centre of the wrapper and fold like in the video.
Step 6
Heat oil in a non-stick pan on medium high. Fry the dumplings until the bottoms are lightly browned. Add water to the pan and cover with a lid. Let it cook for around 3-4 mins until the bottom is golden brown.
Step 7
Serve with a dipping sauce such as soy sauce and enjoy!
