Instructions
Step 1
Place rice, ½ cup water and ¼ tsp salt in a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Reduce to a simmer, cover and cook for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and stand for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
Step 2
Meanwhile, whisk soy and maple together and set aside.
Step 3
Toss beef with 1 tsp sesame oil and pepper.
Step 4
Heat a frypan over high heat. Cook beef in batches (they will only take 8-10 seconds to brown each side). Set aside and keep warm.
Step 5
Add remaining sesame oil to pan with onion, mushrooms and garlic and stir fry for a few minutes.
Step 6
Add beans and stir fry for another couple of minutes. Return beef to pan, toss with sauce and serve with rice.
