Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the lentils. Chop the onion.
Step 2
Melt butter over medium heat and add onions. Cook until softened. And lentils and mix.
Step 3
Add chicken stock and cinnamon sticks. Cook for 25 mins. Season with salt and pepper at the end.
Step 4
Remove cinnamon sticks and blend half of the soup.
Step 5
Pour blended portion back into pot and mix with unblended soup - heat if needed.
