½ tspbaking soda

1 tspsalt

1 tspcinnamon

¼ tspground ginger

¼ tspnutmeg

¼ tspcardamom

Puree pears , then combine all wet ingredients mixing well.

In a separate bowl wisk dry ingredients together. Then add dry to wet and mix on medium speed for 1 min or until well combined.

For the stroussel topping combine ingredients together in a bowl. Using your hands mix together and crumble into small bits.

Add your pear mixture into your prepared baking dish or loaf pan. Top with stroussel mixture. Bake at 350° for 20-50 min depending on size or until toothpick comes out clean.

For the icing, melt butter, brown sugar and salt in a sauce pan until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool. Next, wisk in heavy cream vanilla and powdered sugar until it reaches a smooth consistency. Drizzle icing over cooled pear loaf.
