Instructions
Step 1
Cover chickpeas with water and soak overnight. Drain and transfer to a saucepan.
Step 2
Add the water, boil for about 30 minutes, until the water has reduced & just covering the chickpeas.
Step 3
Add salt, onion, bay leaves, saffron threads, cinnamon, honey, orange juice and orange blossom water and cook for a further 10 minutes.
Step 4
Stir in the sultanas to just soften. Drain & store in refrigerator.
Step 5
Can be kept for up to a week, heat prior to serving.
