1 tablespooncapers

1 tablespoongherkin
chopped
½ teaspoonsalt

1 tablespoonfresh dill

Dredge (flour)
1 cupflour
2 teaspoongarlic powder
2 teaspoononion powder
1 teaspoonsalt
or to taste
1 teaspoonblack pepper

Step 1
Cut your cod fillets into square pieces to fit the bun
Step 2
Season the cod with salt and pepper
Step 3
Let it stand for 10 mins
Step 4
Then make the tartar sauce, mix together all the ingredients
Step 5
Heat the oil go around 180c
Step 6
While oil is heating up, make the dredge with the ingredients listed
Step 7
Whisk together the eggs in a shallow bowl
Step 8
Dip the cod in the dredge (flour), then the egg mixture, then the breadcrumbs
Step 9
Fry the fish on both until golden, approx 2 mins on each side
Step 10
Steam or microwave the buns until soft
Step 11
Put a slice (or half like McDonald's do) on the bottom of each bin, fish on top of that then a big spoonful of tartar sauce on top of that
