roasted red peppersroasted red peppers¼ cup
Step 2
Sauté your kale lastly and when its done allow the sauteed veggies to cool while you work on the rest.
Step 3
Mix remaining ingredients in a large bowl with the sauteed veggies.
can black beanscan black beans1
cilantrocilantro3 Tbsp
garlic powdergarlic powder½ Tbsp
cumincumin¼ tsp
adobo seasoningadobo seasoning1 Tbsp
pankopanko2 cups
flourflour3 Tbsp
Step 4
Make your Patty mix. Texture should be moist and soft but not so soft that it falls apart while cooking. Youre perfect patty mix should make a nice round ball ( see video ). Then shape out your patties.
Step 5
Bread them lightly in panko and seasoned flour if you want them really crispy.
Step 6
Pan fry them or deep fry them till desired texture. I like mine really crispy so don't worry if it looks burnt. It is a black bean burger so it may appear burnt before it actually is.
Step 7
Toast your tortilla to get it warm and pliable. Spread your sauce and slaw and top with your black bean burger. This recipe is so versatile. You can swap out the veggies and use what you have and get creative. This is even great as tacos and yes as an actual burger sort of set up.
