When North Africa meets China! These seared shrimps are perfectly spiced with both hot and warm spices.
Enjoy these delicious shrimps over my signature kale salad (listed on Whisk) or in a bulgur or rice bowl!

Instructions
Rinse
Step 1
Rinse deveined shrimp with cold water and sea salt. About two times until sea salt has washed away.
Season
Step 2
Add harissa, 5 spice, pink peppercorn and salt to shrimp. Toss and marinate for about 5 minutes.
Sear
Step 3
Heat a skillet on medium-high heat with avocado oil.
Step 4
Remove any moisture from the shrimps with a paper towel.
Step 5
Add shrimps to the skillet. Space them out to create a nice sear without creating steam. Sear each side for about a minute. If the backs are still raw after both sides are seared, lay the back on the skillet for about 30 seconds.
Step 6
Enjoy over my signature kale salad (listed on Whisk) or over a bowl of bulgur or rice.
