Life-Long Noodles with Beef & Chinese Broccoli

Ingredients
4 servings
8 ozwhole wheat spaghetti
1 tablespoontoasted sesame oil
3 tablespoonsoyster sauce
3 tablespoonsrice wine
2 tablespoonsreduced sodium soy sauce
1 ½ teaspoonscornstarch
¼ teaspoonground white pepper
1 tablespoonpeanut oil
10 ozChinese broccoli
or broccolini, havled and cut into one inch pieces
2 cupssliced mushrooms
12 ouncesflank steak
trimmed and thinly sliced
2 clovesgarlic
grated
toasted sesame seeds
for garnish
Instructions
Step 1
1. Cook noodles according to package directions. Rinse and drain well. Toss with sesame oil and set aside
Step 2
2. Whisk together oyster sauce, rice wine, soy sauce, cornstarch and white pepper in a small bowl and set near the stove
Step 3
3. Heat a large flat bottomed wok or large cast iron skillet over high heat. Add peanut oil and swirl to coat. Add broccoli and mushrooms, cook, stirring occasionally for two minutes
Step 4
4. Add steak and garlic, cook, stirring until the steak is no longer pink on the outside
Step 5
5. Add the sauce and bring to a boil, cook for one minute
Step 6
6. Add the noodles and toss to coat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired
