Instructions
Step 1
Heat 1 Tbps oil in pan then cook onions until starting to brown. Then add ginger, garlic, cumin
Step 2
Add 2 chopped tomatoes and let it cook, covered, until well squishy (10-15min). Salt to taste. Add water as needed to keep from drying out.
Step 3
Blend tomato mixture until smooth paste
Step 4
Heat 4 Tbsp oil then fry 1 tsp chili powder for 30sec. Add blended tomato paste, 2tsp coriander, 3tsp garam masala, salt. Simmer covered 5-8min
Step 5
Add 440g kidney beans, 125ml-250ml stock and simmer covered for 10-15min until flavour omnipresent.
Step 6
Serve with rice
