0.5yellow onion
diced, or one whole onion if small

2cloves garlic
minced

1red bell pepper
diced

1green bell pepper
diced

1 cupdiced tomato
or one 15 oz can diced tomatoes, drained

3 x 15 ozcans beans
drained and rinsed, I used black, pinto and kidney, If you don’t like a ton of beans in your chili you can use 2 cans

½ cuprefried beans

2 tablespoonstomato paste

2 teaspoonsground cumin

1 teaspoonpaprika

1 teaspoonchili powder

1 teaspoongarlic powder

1 teaspoonsalt

½ teaspoononion powder

½ teaspoonitalian seasoning

½ teaspoonblack pepper

2 cupsvegetable broth
I used 2 cups because I like a thick chili but you can use 3 if you like a more brothy chili
