Ingredients
6 servings

2 Tbspolive oil

2onions
chopped

2garlic cloves
crushed

1kglean beef mince

250mldry red wine

2red chillies
thinly sliced, or 3-4 tsp chilli flakes

1 tspcumin powder

1 tspcoriander powder

3 Tbsptomato puree

2 x 400gtinned plum tomatoes

1 stickcinnamon

worcestershire sauce

1oxo cube

2chicken stock cubes

2 x 400gcan red kidney beans
Thoroughly rinsed and drained

1 bunchcoriander leaves
large, roughly chopped

salt

black pepper

0.5 mugwater
while cooking to thin mixture if too thick
Instructions
Step 1
Heat a large pan on medium and add oil, once hot add onions and soften for 5 mins, add garlic after 2 mins
Step 2
Add mince and brown, approximately 10 mins
Step 3
Add red wine and cook for 3 mins
Step 4
Add chillies, cumin and coriander, stir through
Step 5
Add tomato puree and stir well
Step 6
Add plum tomatoes and cinnamon stick, stir well
Step 7
Add worcestershire sauce, crumble in oxo cube and chicken stock cubes and stir well, cook for around 25 mins on low with lid on
Step 8
Add kidney beans and cook for a further 10 mins, add chopped coriander towards the end with salt to taste and cook for 2-3 mins
