Instructions

Step 1
Melt the frozen octopus in running water
Step 2
Rub the octopus with salt and wash all the murky water away
Step 3
Prep the sauce (3tb chili powder, 1tb gochujang, 1tb minced garlic, 1tb sake, 6tb, soy sauce, 2tb sugar, dash of msg)
Step 4
(optional) if you want to add vegetables, eg like zucchini, stir-fry first with sauce until veggies are somewhat cooked
Step 5
Stirfry octopus in sauce with onion. Don't cook too long as octopus can get hard and not tasty - you're going for medium rare for the octopus. Onion doesnt taste good either when overcooked so cooking at similar timing makes sense
Step 6
When finished add sprinkles of cut up spring onion and a dash of sesame oil
