Instructions

Step 1
Make the sauce: Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Grate the lime peel finely and squeeze the lime. Peel the ginger and grate it finely. Peel and chop the garlic finely. Mix the lime juice with ginger, garlic, sesame oil, 3/4 of the soy sauce, 1 tsp honey, and 1-2 tbsp water.
Step 2
Bread the tofu: Wrap the tofu in a clean kitchen towel and press out as much moisture as possible. Cut the tofu into slices about 1 cm thick. Place the sesame on a plate. Whisk a batter with the remaining soy sauce, 1 egg, 1 tbsp flour, and 1 tsp salt. Coat the tofu slices first in the batter and then in the sesame.
Step 3
Fry the tofu: Fry the tofu on medium to high heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy. Drain on kitchen paper. Sprinkle the tofu with half of the lime zest and any remaining sesame and keep warm until serving.
Step 4
Cut the vegetables: Peel the onion and cut it into half circles. Peel the carrot and slice it into thin slices. Cut the bok choy into strips, removing the tough stalk.
Step 5
Fry the vegetables: Heat the frying pan over medium to high heat with 1 tbsp vegetable oil and fry the onion, carrot, and bok choy for 5-6 minutes. Deglaze with half of the sauce and season with salt and pepper. Divide the cauliflower rice and vegetables over plates and place the tofu on top. Sprinkle with the remaining lime zest and drizzle with the rest of the sauce.
