Instructions
Step 1
Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet or wok over medium heat, then swirl in cooking oil.
Step 2
Add onion and cook for 1 minute, or until softened.
Step 3
Toss in garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute, stirring constantly.
Step 4
Increase heat to medium-high and add bell pepper and pineapple.
Step 5
Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until golden, stirring frequently.
Step 6
Add the cooked rice and soy sauce.
Step 7
Continue to stir over the heat for another minute, or until soy sauce is well blended in. Turn off the heat and stir in sesame oil.
Step 8
Plate the rice and sprinkle each serving with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired. Serve warm
