500mlcurd
തൈര്

500mlwater
വെള്ളം

2 tablespoonscooking oil
എണ്ണ

½ teaspoonmustard seeds
കടുക്

½ teaspoonfenugreek seeds
ഉലുവ

2dry red chilli
ഉണക്കമുളക്, nos

2 inchginger
ഇഞ്ചി, piece

3 clovesgarlic
വെളുത്തുള്ളി

2green chilli
പച്ചമുളക്, nos

10shallots
ചെറിയ ഉള്ളി, nos

2 sprigscurry leaves
കറിവേപ്പില

½ teaspoonturmeric powder
മഞ്ഞള് പൊടി

½ teaspoonchilli powder
മുളകുപൊടി

2 teaspoonssalt
ഉപ്പ്
Instructions
Step 1
Mix the curd and water in a 1:1 ratio and make it homogenous.



Step 2
Add oil to a pan and wait till it gets hot


Step 3
Add mustard seeds and wait them to finish popping.

Step 4
Add fenugreek and the dry red chilli and stir for 10 seconds


Step 5
Add ginger, garlic and green chilli and stir for a few seconds



Step 6
Add shallots, curry leaves and stir till the onions turn golden brown color


Step 7
Add turmeric and chilli powder. Stir for 10 seconds to toast.


Step 8
Add the curd and water mix to the pan


Step 9
Keep stirring in medium heat and don't let it boil for about 2 mins
Step 10
Turn off heat and add salt as per needed to balance sourness
