Its very easy to prepare, brown the flour coated duck in the oil in a large pot or pan. Add the onion with the duck to get it caramelized.
Add your veggies, stock, seasonings and beer to the crock pot.
After the meat is browned, scrape all the bits in the bottom of the pan along with the meat and add it to the crock pot. You can also use beer here to deglaze the pan if you wish.
Cook on low for 5-6 hours. Best if served the next day, but its great right when its done. This makes a huge batch, could feed 10 guys for dinner.

snapped ends and chopped into thirds

sliced into small pie es
0.5 lbbacon
sliced into bite size pieces
0.5 canale
4 cupsbeef stock
or game stock
1can diced tomatoes
8garlic cloves
peeled, whole
1 Tbspgarlic powder
