Instructions

Step 1
Preheat Oven: Set to 425°F (220°C).

Cook Steak: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak, season with garlic salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Remove steak and set aside.

Sauté Veggies: Reserve 1 tbsp liquid from the skillet. Add bell pepper and onion, cooking until tender but crisp. Set aside.

Assemble Layers: Spread fries in the skillet or baking dish. Layer with cheese slices, steak, and veggies. Repeat, ending with cheese on top.

Bake: Bake 8-10 mins, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
