Instructions
Step 1
Heat the oil in a pot.

Step 2
Add onions, cardamom pods, cinnamon and curry leave until oil is fragrant.
Step 3
Stir in the tumeric, masala and chilli powder. Fry the spices but be careful not to burn them.
Step 4
Add the tomatoes and let it cook through until it's melted into a curry sauce base.
Step 5
Drop in your chopped potatoes. Par-cook before adding in the chicken pieces.
Step 6
Let it cook, covered for about 5 to 10min.
Step 7
Once the potatoes and chicken is cooked. Switch the stove off and drop in a handful of washed coriander.
