Ingredients

12 ozspaghetti
1 lbsirloin steak
or ribeye, sliced into bite-size pieces
salt
to taste
black pepper
to taste
1 tspgarlic powder
1 tspsmoked paprika
2 Tbspolive oil
3 Tbspunsalted butter
4cloves garlic
minced
1 cupheavy cream
½ cupbeef broth
1 cupparmesan cheese
freshly grated
1 tspitalian seasoning
1 Tbspfresh parsley
chopped, plus more for garnish
1 cupmushrooms
Optional, sautéed, or spinach for extra flavor
Instructions
Step 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
Pat steak pieces dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.
Step 3
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and beef broth, stirring to combine. Simmer for 2—3 minutes, then whisk in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until smooth and creamy.
Step 4
Return steak and cooked spaghetti to the skillet. Toss until everything is fully coated in the creamy Southern garlic Parmesan sauce. Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach if desired.
Step 5
Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve warm and enjoy a rich, garlicky, comforting steak pasta!
